What has happened to Amazon! They website is down and showing an error of “Http/1.1 Service Unavailable”. The seemed to have gone down about 1:30 PM Eastern time.

You might have expected something like this from a small site, but not from Amazon, one of the busiest sites on the internet. With it going down the Amazon site is due to loose some large revenue.

I’m sure the Amazon engineers are working to resolve the issue quickly.
